Alison Burgh Speaks at Green Destinations 2025

Acorn Tourism Consulting is pleased to announce that our Director, Alison Burgh, will be speaking at Green Destinations 2025, which takes place in Montpellier, France, from 28–30 September 2025.
This annual conference brings together global experts in sustainable tourism to share knowledge and best practice. Alison will deliver two presentations highlighting recent work in Jordan:
29 September: Certified for Change: Jordan’s Sustainable Tourism Journey
This session will outline how Jordan’s tourism stakeholders have worked together to align with international sustainability standards, diversify tourism products, and achieve certification.
30 September: Identifying Jordan’s Good Travel Experiences
This presentation will showcase the Jordan Tourism Board’s approach to identifying and promoting experiences that regenerate biodiversity, empower communities, and highlight the country’s cultural heritage.
Through these case studies, Alison will demonstrate how collaborative and evidence-based approaches are helping Jordan to strengthen its position as a leading sustainable tourism destination.
