Exciting Updates for The South West Visitor Economy Hub

Since being awarded the contract in January, the Acorn T-Stats team has been making significant strides towards launching the new South West Visitor Economy Hub. There are multiple data sources, provider partners and ongoing surveys to coordinate as well as system enhancement, app development, general administration and client liaison with the various Steering Group partners and Project Lead.
Last week was especially busy, where the team:
- Conducted interviews for the Business Engagement Representative position
- Hosted three User Acceptance Testing sessions with volunteer participants
- Attended two fantastic networking sessions with East Devon Tourism Network and Visit South Devon
- Released the launch date for the system:
- 18th June in Exmouth
- 20th and 21st June through online webinars (you can sign up here).
The data hub builds on the existing T-Stats Solutions system and will track the tourism sector in Devon and Somerset, including visitor economy business activity. Find out more about the system and its indicators here.
