T-Stats “21” nearly ready for launch
23rd June 2021
It’s almost five years since Acorn launched the current version of T-Stats, and over that time we’ve been listening to what users want to make it a more powerful tool for tracking their destinations. We are now close to releasing what has become a significant rebuild of the system. Current users of T-Stats will be the first to use the new version, with a seamless switchover from the existing system. After that, we are looking forward to new partners joining the T-Stats family, and making the most of the only bespoke online database specifically developed for destinations and tourism businesses.
Director of T-Stats, Kevin Millington said “I’m particularly excited about this major release. There’s a lot in it to automate data collection. For example, users will be able to connect T-Stats to their website and social media channels to pull in key website data, and track how users are engaging with their social media”.
Chief Developer, Clevon Noel has also been working on the look of the system and how users can make the most from the analysis features. It is now significantly more powerful than before, making it easier to spot trends and identify how visitor numbers impact accommodation occupancy and other facilities and services in a destination.
Significantly, this is the first time T-Stats has been developed with tourism businesses specifically in mind. Accommodation establishments, attractions and other services will be able to tailor the system to their own needs. This will allow Destination Management Organisations, National Tourism Administrations and the private sector to work closer together to collect, analyse and benefit from the data.
