Green Tourism – Gold
In January 2023, we were awarded a Green Tourism Gold award for our commitment to sustainability. As part of the process, we are required to track, report, and set goals to help reduce our negative impacts. Becoming certified is an important way of promoting our sustainability progress in a transparent way.
One of the main reasons that we achieved the gold award was because of our eco office space which we bought in 2010. Find out more here.
The Glasgow Declaration / Our Climate Action Plan
In 2022 we became a both a signatory and member of the working group for the Glasgow Declaration. The Declaration was established to join different stakeholders within the tourism industry with the desired end goal of reaching net zero as soon as possible before 2030.
As part of the commitment we published our own Climate Action Plan in 2023. This plan lays out key areas where we, as a business, are working to reduce our impacts on the environment. At the end of every year, we aim to report transparently on our progress and set goals for the year ahead using data we have gathered and learned from during the previous year.
