    We worked with three very different rural communities, all with exceptional biodiversity and all of which had been severely affected by the conflict in Colombia. Together with E3 Group in Colombia and RHS Kew Gardens, we developed tourist routes that promote forest protection and peacebuilding through community-based ecotourism.

  3. Bolivia Wine Tourism Development
    This project evaluated the potential for wine tourism in Bolivia, focusing on the Tarija region. Acorn Tourism conducted in-depth market research and stakeholder engagement to support the creation of the Wines of Bolivia brand and a marketing strategy to attract international and domestic wine travellers. The findings provided actionable recommendations to position Bolivia as an emerging wine tourism destination and encouraged collaboration between wineries, tour operators, and tourism boards.
    1. Nicaragua Tourism Market Research and Competitive Analysis
      This project supported INTUR in positioning Nicaragua as a competitive destination for European travellers by identifying niche tourism opportunities and benchmarking against regional competitors. Through market research, stakeholder consultations, and capacity building, Acorn Tourism delivered practical strategies and tools for INTUR to diversify its tourism offer, strengthen its market appeal, and align with global best practices.
      1. Kaieteur Falls located in virgin rainforest is a central attraction for Guyana’s ecotourism branding and marketing strategy
        Acorn led an international team to create a national tourism brand for Guyana and a ten-year Marketing Strategy and Action Plan. The strategy is underpinned by extensive market research in North America, South America, the Caribbean, UK and mainland Europe.
