An Exciting Time for Tourism Data

Acorn T-Stats are delighted to have been awarded the Tourism Data Hub Feasibility Study contract for the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise area of Devon and Somerset.
At Acorn we have been passionate about the importance of tourism data tracking and analysis for many years and have worked with DMOs across the UK helping them to plan, market and regulate the sector with robust data.
We are increasingly aware of destinations seeking the very same intelligence that the project in the South West is aiming to uncover; a more strategic and organised understanding of their data. We believe this new momentum in the sector is, in part, driven by the recommendations of the de Bois Review of Destination Management Organisations in England which identified a weakness in this area.
We are very excited for the months ahead, working with the stakeholders on the South West Data Hub Project, as well as new destinations across the UK and beyond.
