It would be wrong to say we work with any particular type of organisation or company. Quite simply, we work with places, destinations and their stakeholders.
We work for nations, small island states, regions, cities, market towns and villages. Whether your destination or business is urban or part of the green or blue economy, we're sure you’ll find we’ve undertaken similar work
In the United Kingdom we often work with Destination Management Organisations (DMOs) which are responsible for the development and marketing of tourism at a regional and local level. We also work with regional, city and district councils, Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) and protected landscapes on projects that involve tourism and the development of the visitor economy. Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) also regularly engage us for a wide range of projects including market research, feasibility studies, options appraisals, and marketing.
Internationally we work with national tourism administrations, ministries of tourism and tourist boards to assist with the development of the tourism sector at national, regional and local levels. Often we’ll be contracted by international development agencies such as the United Nations World Tourism Organization, World Bank and International Finance Corporation, regional agencies such as the Caribbean Development Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the African Development Bank. We also work with UK agencies including the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), now the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, and Department for Business and Trade. Elsewhere, we regularly work with GIZ in Germany, the CBI Netherlands Enterprise Agency, and USAID.
Our vast experience in the tourism sector also attracts the private sector – tour operators, attractions and accommodation developers amongst others, to undertake market research, business plans, planning assessments, options appraisals, and financial evaluations.
