Thailand Training

About

Summary

Following on from the development of the branding and marketing manual, Alison led in-person training workshops which shared the process and key lessons from the national tourism board manual as a resource. This was delivered to the product development team at the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the senior managers at the Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (DASTA) and the Thai Hotel Association (THA).

Our Approach

A hands-on participatory process was used combined with a deep dive into storytelling to show how this process adds value to sustainable tourism marketing communications. A training workshop, that included a group exercise was designed and executed in person in Bangkok with key members of the Thailand tourism industry.

Outcome

As a result of the training these managers developed an understanding of the process involved in creating a robust sustainability story that can underpin the development of Thailand’s sustainability brand. Consequently, the Manual has been translated into Thai and will be used to build capacity within these organisations.
